The Central Bank of Hungary has published new payment data results. The statistics showed that 71 percent of Forint accounts used primarily for payment purposes in 2016 Q2 showed an increase in the number of transactions made with contactless cards, while the number of POS terminals allowing contactless payments increased more than 7 percent, bringing the proportion of terminals that allow contactless payments to around 70 percent.
