On May 29, 2017, at the weekly Cabinet session, Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa approved a bill to amend Article 3 of Decree Law No. (4) of 2001, which stipulates that collecting, giving or allocating any funds, property, proceeds or support by any means to an individual or groups engaged in terrorist activity shall be punishable by the law.
