Payoneer has agreed to pay the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) $1.4m to settle allegations that it violated several sanctions programs on 2,260 occasions. The company has told OFAC that it has replaced its chief compliance officer, retrained all compliance employees and hired new compliance people.
