On March 24, 2017 the Arkansas state legislature passed Act 620/2017, which introduces amendments to the Uniform Money Services Act. These changes aim to “clarify the surety bond requirements for licensees; revise the renewal procedures for a license; amend the type of reports required; require an anti-money laundering program; allow the securities commissioner to participate in the multistate automated licensing system”, among other things. The amount of the surety bond has not been changed.
