Decree No. 2016-1742 of December 15, 2016 has been published to amend the Monetary and Financial Code concerning the capping of prepaid cards. The purpose of the decree is to limit the maximum carrying capacity of prepaid cards to €10,000 and the loading, withdrawal and reimbursement operations using cash or anonymous electronic money to €1,000 (per calendar month for loading and withdrawal).
