On December 10, 2018, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) released the mutual evaluation report (MER) assessing Israel’s levels of compliance with the international standards and practices established by FATF, while providing certain recommendations on improving and strengthening its anti-money laundering/counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) system. Based on the findings of the report and the progress the country has made, it has become a full member of FATF as of the date of the publication of the MER.
