Latest update: May 25, 2018. The Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced that, following the end of the consultation, comments were received from 30 participants.
These participants were allocated as follows:
- Two were supervisory authorities.
- Seven were association of companies engaged in the Bitcoin technology sector.
- Three belonged to the banking or general financial sector.
- 18 were members of the public.

On January 31, 2018, the Ministry of Economy and Finance published a consultation regarding Legislative Decree May 25, 2017, s. 90, Implementation of the Directive (EU) 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council of May 20, 2015 on prevention of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering and financing of terrorism.
