On July 3, 2017 the Monetary Authority of Macau (AMCM) published an announcement that cash withdrawals at ATMs without the know your customer (KYC) function will be suspended for mainland China UnionPay (CUP) cards. Macau residents and holders of cards issued by banks from other jurisdictions are unaffected.
