On July 6, 2018 Law no. 1462 Strengthening the Mechanism for Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Corruption was published in the official journal of Monaco. The law, which was adopted at the National Council in its meeting of June 21, 2018, aims to update and strengthen the current anti-money laundering Law no. 1362 of August 3, 2009 and amend other related laws, including the Penal Code.
